When we provide the Datavation platform (including Veridis) to a customer, we process data within that customer’s own environment, on their instructions — as a processor. That processing is governed by our agreement and Data Processing Agreement with the customer, not by this notice. This notice covers only data for which Datavation decides the purposes and means: our website and marketing.

Only what you give us, plus what we need to run the site. Contact form: name, work email, group and sites, DMS, your question. Data Score: your answers and, if you request the report, your email. The Veridis Brief: your email. Usage data (pages viewed, referring site, coarse device type) only with your consent. Server logs (IP, path, user agent, timestamps) to run and secure the site. No advertising pixels.

To respond, and nothing more as a default. We answer enquiries on the basis of legitimate interest, and steps taken at your request prior to a contract. We send the Data Score report and The Veridis Brief only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing hello@datavation.com or using the unsubscribe link. Analytics run only with your consent. We also process data to operate, secure and improve the site, and to comply with law.

Short by default. Enquiry records are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Subscription data is deleted on unsubscribe. Data Score answers submitted without an email are not stored. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to secure the site. We then delete or anonymise unless the law requires otherwise.

United States

Depending on your state (including California/CPRA and comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others), you may have rights to know/access, delete, and correct your information, to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” and targeted advertising, to limit sensitive data, and to non-discrimination. We do not sell your personal information for money. You can opt out via our consent banner and by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC). Email privacy@datavation.com.

UK & EEA

Under UK GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Write to hello@datavation.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Analytics on this site are first-party and cookieless, and they are off by default. We only measure page views and how people use the Datavation Data Score after you choose “Accept analytics” on the consent banner. No third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no Google Analytics. The only thing we store on your device is your consent choice itself. We honour Do-Not-Track / Global Privacy Control.

These terms govern datavation.com, operated by Datavation Technologies Limited. The public website is not the service — access to Veridis is under a separate written agreement. Use the site lawfully. Content and the names “Datavation” and “Veridis” are owned by or licensed to us. The Data Score and any figures shown are indicative and illustrative, not a forecast. Content is general information, not professional advice. The site is provided “as is”. Nothing excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so; subject to that, total liability arising from the site is limited to £100. Governed by the laws of England and Wales.

For customers, a customer’s operational data is unified and held within the customer’s own cloud tenant. We do not take ownership of it and do not sell it. A signable Data Processing Agreement is available on request. Sub-processors: Microsoft (Azure & Microsoft 365) for hosting, corporate email, and transactional email; Azure Storage for enquiry and Data Score records. Our CRM is internal. Analytics are first-party. Telemetry stays in Azure Monitor inside our own tenant.
